Archiving Policy

Innovations in Science, Technology, and Society (ISTS) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal ensures that its articles are securely archived and retrievable through multiple repositories and indexing services.

  1. Digital Preservation – All published articles are assigned a DOI and stored in secure digital archives to guarantee permanent availability.

  2. Repository Deposit – Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version (Version of Record) or the accepted manuscript in institutional, subject-specific, or public repositories without embargo.

  3. LOCKSS/CLOCKSS Participation – The journal supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS systems, ensuring redundancy and long-term preservation of all published materials.

  4. Self-Archiving – Authors may freely share their work on personal websites, academic networks (such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu), and open-access repositories, provided the original citation and DOI are included.

  5. Indexing Preservation – Metadata and full texts are submitted to recognized databases and indexing services for enhanced discoverability and preservation.
